Our founder
The founder Professor Thomas is a visionary individual who has dedicated himself to developing a certification option for experienced workers who lack formal qualifications. Since 1996, he has been working on this unique methodology, which is based on his own lifelong learning journey and hands-on knowledge. This certification option is essential for recognizing and validating the skills and experience of these workers, and it should be conferred with an appropriate lifelong occupational knowledge award.

ECU Awards are degrees for entrepreneurs with lifelong and experiential learning. They are assessed and validated by UK education professionals and verified by UK Commission for Consistent Learning (UKCCL). The UK Certified Knowledge Association, a UK Professional Body since 1981 with its Head Office in UK, will be the Management and Operational Trustees.
ECU works closely with Employers and Business Enterprises to make sure that every staff member has the practical training and experience needed for business success. This is done through UKCCL’s two schemes: APEL and ACPD, which are executed to Professional Quality Management Standards.
